Big Barn

A fantastic addition to the Larcomb site in 2011, the big barn features a high wooden ceiling with exposed beams. A stunning space with seating for 50-250 guests with ample room to include our dance floor alongside your guests to ensure everyone can kick their heels off and dance the night away. Large doors at the rear of the building allow for seamless set ups and allow the ability for large theming pieces or vehicles.

Small Barn

This building is the original winery and restaurant of the premises. Boasting fantastic natural light and an open brick fire place, this space is perfect for an intimate reception for up to 60 guests. The exposed timber ceiling and crisp white walls provides a sense of elegance, while the french doors open onto a beautiful sunny grassed area and lavender hedge through the summer months. This space can also be used as a back up ceremony space for inclement weather.

The Stables

A delightful historic building at Larcomb, the stables is a proud part of the history of the Canterbury region. Only able to accommodate up to 20 seated guests or 60 standing guests, this space is widely utilised as an outdoor bar for post ceremony drinks or an intimate space for small group photos.

We like to keep things simple and easy for our clients by providing additional inclusions when you book your event at Larcomb Vineyard. For other additions to enhance your event, please view our vendors page.


  • Our onsite venue manager acts as your event coordinator to ensure your event runs smoothly.
  • All Larcomb furniture will be set up prior to your arrival to decorate as per your requests.
  • The G&T Catering team will take care of all your catering and bar service, meaning there is less for you to organise.
  • All cleaning services are included.

How do I book a venue viewing?
We’d love to show you around Larcomb Vineyard and chat about your upcoming special occasion! Viewings during weekday business hours are preferable but we can make weekends work too. Please email us and we can schedule a time to meet with you to view our venue.
Can I use our own caterer?
G&T Catering is our onsite catering team and they work with you to create a customised menu that suits your preferences, budget and style.
Can I BYO alcohol for my event?
We have an onsite liquor license and provide a wide range of drinks to suit most preferences. You are able to BYO wine but there is a service charge associated with this. We are more than happy to chat with you further about this.
How much set up and pack down do we need to do?
We will set up all the Larcomb furniture that you require (tables, chairs, crockery, archways etc) prior to your event, ready for you to come in and decorate. At the end of your event, we will set all your personal belongings to one side for you to take with you at the conclusion of your event (unless arranged prior).
Do you have any wet weather options for my event?
Absolutely! We are always prepared for unfavourable weather. We have a few different options depending on what part of your event we are needing to move inside. We have plenty of tricks up our sleeves if the weather happens to be unfavourable and we do plan for this in advance.
Can I use a wedding/events planner and coordinator?
We do assist as needed with any planning in the lead up to your event and our venue manager is available to coordinate your event on the day (which is all included in your venue hire), but you’re more than welcome to bring someone else in to do this.
Is your venue dog friendly?
Absolutely! Having your furry friends a part of your special occasion is always fun. We do ask that your dog is on a leash, and someone is caring for them throughout the event. We suggest that they aren’t onsite for the entirety of your event, but we can also chat further about this.
